AI Usage Policy

The JOURNAL OF INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC RESEARCH FOR MULTIDISCIPLINARY (JIARM) is committed to promoting ethical, transparent, and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in academic research and scholarly publishing. The journal recognizes that AI-based tools, including generative AI, machine learning applications, language models, automated writing assistants, image generation tools, data analysis software, and other intelligent systems, can support researchers in various aspects of manuscript preparation, including language improvement, data organization, literature exploration, statistical analysis, visualization, and formatting. However, the use of such technologies must always uphold the principles of academic integrity, originality, transparency, and accountability.

Authors submitting manuscripts to JIARM may use AI-assisted tools only as supportive instruments during the research, writing, editing, or analytical process. AI tools must not replace the intellectual contribution, critical thinking, interpretation, scientific judgment, or original scholarly input of the author(s). The author(s) remain fully responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, originality, validity, ethical compliance, and integrity of all content submitted to the journal, including any content that has been generated, modified, analyzed, or assisted by AI technologies.

Authors are required to clearly disclose the use of any AI tools or AI-assisted technologies in the preparation of their manuscript. Such disclosure should include the name of the AI tool or software used, its purpose in the research or writing process, and the extent of its contribution. AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors, as authorship requires accountability, intellectual responsibility, and the ability to approve and defend the work, which AI systems cannot fulfill.

The use of AI for generating fabricated data, manipulated images, false citations, misleading interpretations, unauthorized paraphrasing, plagiarism, falsification of research findings, or any other unethical academic practice is strictly prohibited. Authors must carefully review and verify all AI-assisted outputs, including text, references, statistical interpretations, figures, tables, graphs, and visual materials, to ensure factual accuracy, proper attribution, and compliance with scholarly standards.

Peer reviewers and editorial board members are also expected to maintain confidentiality when using any AI-assisted tools during manuscript evaluation. Confidential manuscript content, unpublished research data, reviewer comments, or editorial communications must not be uploaded, shared, or processed through public AI systems that may compromise author confidentiality or intellectual property rights.

All manuscripts submitted to JIARM may be subject to editorial review for compliance with this AI Usage Policy. Failure to disclose AI usage, misuse of AI technologies, submission of misleading AI-generated content, or violation of ethical publishing standards may result in manuscript rejection, withdrawal of acceptance, retraction of published articles, notification to affiliated institutions, or other appropriate editorial actions in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics.

By submitting a manuscript to JIARM, author(s) confirm that any use of Artificial Intelligence technologies has been conducted responsibly, transparently, ethically, and in full compliance with this AI Usage Policy and the journal’s standards of academic integrity.
